Description
Delicious Valentine’s Day Pizza Roses made from crescent dough and filled with cheese and pepperoni.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 8-oz. tube crescent dough
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 4 oz. large pepperoni slices, cut in half
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° and spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- On a lightly floured surface, unroll crescent dough and separate into 4 rectangles. Pinch together perforated edges to seal.
- Cut each rectangle lengthwise into three 1”-wide strips. Spread a thin layer of sauce on each strip. Sprinkle with cheeses and layer pepperoni halves on top half of each strip, slightly overlapping.
- Fold up the bottom half of the dough and tightly roll.
- Transfer to prepared muffin tin and bake until golden, 10-15 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh ingredients for better flavor.
- Experiment with different toppings if desired.
