  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a roux.
  5. Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream, cooking until the mixture thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Transfer the mac and cheese to a greased baking dish.
  9. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crunchy topping.
