Delicious ultra thick bakery style chocolate chip cookies.
Ingredients

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- You can use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for freshness.
