Description
A hearty and flavorful Crockpot Pierogi Casserole made with layers of pierogi, cheese, and onions.
Ingredients

- 2 packages frozen pierogi (16 oz each)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the Crockpot.
- Spread half of the diced onion over the pierogi.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the layers in the Crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- You can use any flavor of pierogi you like.
- Feel free to add cooked bacon or sausage for extra flavor.
- Top with green onions for garnish if desired.
