Description

A hearty and flavorful Crockpot Pierogi Casserole made with layers of pierogi, cheese, and onions.


Ingredients

  • 2 packages frozen pierogi (16 oz each)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the Crockpot.
  2. Spread half of the diced onion over the pierogi.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. In a bowl, mix sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the mixture over the layers in the Crockpot.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can use any flavor of pierogi you like.
  • Feel free to add cooked bacon or sausage for extra flavor.
  • Top with green onions for garnish if desired.
