A delicious bowl of Sticky Honey Soy Chicken Noodles, coated in a rich, glossy sauce with tender chicken and fresh vegetables. A perfect Asian-inspired meal!
Ingredients
For the sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 tsp sriracha (optional) For the chicken & noodles:
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
200g egg noodles
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 carrot, julienned
2 spring onions, chopped
1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Fresh coriander (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sriracha. Set aside.
Cook the noodles: Boil the noodles as per packet instructions, drain, and set aside.
Cook the chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
Sauté the veggies: Add bell pepper and carrot to the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
Combine everything: Pour the sauce over the chicken and veggies, stir well. Add the cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated.
Garnish & serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds, spring onions, and fresh coriander on top. Serve hot and enjoy!
Tips:
Swap chicken for tofu or shrimp for a different twist!
Add crushed peanuts or cashews for extra crunch.
Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
