Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and minced garlic.
  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter or oil.
  4. Cut the phyllo dough into squares and place a spoonful of the spinach mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the phyllo dough over the filling to create a pocket.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Place the bites on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
