- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 package of phyllo dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and minced garlic.
- Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter or oil.
- Cut the phyllo dough into squares and place a spoonful of the spinach mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the phyllo dough over the filling to create a pocket.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Place the bites on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
