Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 pound sushi-grade tuna, diced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 4 sheets nori
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
  2. Combine rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes.
  5. Mix rice vinegar and sugar; fold into rice.
  6. In a bowl, combine diced tuna, mayonnaise, and sriracha.
  7. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat.
  8. Spread a thin layer of rice on nori, leaving a border.
  9. Add tuna mixture, cucumber, and avocado.
  10. Roll tightly and slice into pieces.
