Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups chopped pecans, toasted
Instructions
Toast the Pecans: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread chopped pecans on a baking sheet and toast for about 5-7 minutes until fragrant. Let cool.
Cream the Butter & Sugars: In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in Pecans: Stir in the toasted pecans until evenly distributed.
Scoop & Bake: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
