Ingredients

🧈 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
🍬 1 cup brown sugar, packed
🥄 ½ cup granulated sugar
🥚 2 large eggs
🥛 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
🌾 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
🌿 1 teaspoon baking soda
🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
🌰 1 ½ cups chopped pecans, toasted


Instructions

1️⃣ Toast the Pecans: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread chopped pecans on a baking sheet and toast for about 5-7 minutes until fragrant. Let cool.

2️⃣ Cream the Butter & Sugars: In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

3️⃣ Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.

4️⃣ Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.

5️⃣ Fold in Pecans: Stir in the toasted pecans until evenly distributed.
