Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup brown butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar together.
- Add maple syrup and egg to the butter mixture, mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- For icing, combine powdered sugar, milk, and brown butter until smooth.
- Ice cookies once cooled.
