Description
Delicious s’mores cookie bars with layers of chocolate and marshmallow fluff.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter, softened (salted or unsalted)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup graham crackers, finely crushed (about 3.5 sheets)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 5 standard Hershey bars
- 1 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the flour, graham cracker crumbs, salt, and baking soda until just combined.
- Press half of the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pan. Remove the parchment paper and place the layer in the freezer. Re-line the pan with parchment and press the remaining dough evenly.
- Arrange the chocolate bars over the bottom layer of cookie dough. Spread marshmallow fluff on top of the chocolate. Carefully place the chilled cookie dough layer on top, pressing gently to keep it intact.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Let the bars cool completely before slicing to achieve a clean cross-section.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife for clean cuts.
