Ingredients

- 2 lbs carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Place carrots in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
- Pour the mixture over the carrots.
- Stir to coat the carrots evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until carrots are tender.
- Stir occasionally for even cooking.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- For added flavor, sprinkle some chopped herbs before serving.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
