Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken & Gravy is a comforting meal perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet chicken gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken gravy mix, and chicken broth. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken breasts, making sure they are fully coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low heat for 6-7 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, carefully remove the lid and stir in the sour cream. Mix until the gravy is smooth and creamy.
  6. You can either leave the chicken breasts whole or shred them with two forks to allow the chicken to fully absorb the creamy gravy.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
