A hearty and comforting slow cooker baked ziti that’s easy to prepare.

- 1 pound ziti pasta (uncooked)
- 48 ounces marinara sauce
- 15 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
Instructions
- In a 5-quart (or larger) slow cooker, add the uncooked ziti, marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of the mozzarella. Stir well to combine.
- Drop small spoonfuls of ricotta over the mixture and gently stir it in.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup mozzarella over the top.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 2–3 hours, checking occasionally. Pasta is done when tender to your liking.
- Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
Notes
- Use a flavorful marinara and good-quality cheese for best results.
- If the sauce is mild, add ½ teaspoon salt at the start.
- You can add garlic powder or crushed red pepper for extra flavor.
- Italian seasoning can be replaced with oregano, thyme, and basil.
