- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Stir in the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
- Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for added texture.
