  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. Combine butter and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
  4. Immediately pour the mixture over the saltines and spread to cover completely.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  7. Spread softened chocolate evenly and sprinkle with pecans.
  8. Allow to cool completely, about 25 minutes.
  9. Break toffee into pieces and enjoy!
