Ingredients
Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup Reese’s Pieces candy
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Combine dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Cream the butter and sugars: In a large bowl, use a hand or stand mixer to beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Mix in dry ingredients: Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces: Using a spatula, gently fold in the chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces candies.
Spread the dough: Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and cut: Allow the cookie bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Enjoy your gooey, chocolatey, peanut buttery treat!
