A quick and easy recipe for Korean spicy rice cake skewers.


Ingredients

  • 300g rice cakes
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Soak rice cakes in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  3. Drain rice cakes and thread them onto skewers.
  4. Brush the sauce over the rice cakes.
  5. Grill skewers on medium heat for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • You can adjust the spiciness by adding more or less gochujang.
