Description

Delicious and healthy pumpkin brownies made with almond butter and cocoa.


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (180 g) pumpkin puree
  • ⅓ cup (80 g) almond butter or preferred nut butter
  • 4 tbsp (60 g) maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ cup (30 g) cocoa powder
  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: ⅙ tsp salt
  • Optional: chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a 7×7 in (15 cm x 15 cm) brownie pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, almond butter, maple syrup, and cocoa powder. Add any optional ingredients if desired. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until set in the center.
  5. Let cool completely at room temperature before slicing.
