Pomegranate Mocktails: 5 Refreshing Recipes for Joyful Sips

Description

A refreshing pomegranate mocktail with mint and lime.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup pomegranate juice
  • Half lime (cut in wedges)
  • 68 mint leaves
  • 1 cup soda water or ginger ale
  • Non-alcoholic rum to taste (optional)
  • Sweetener to taste

Instructions

  1. Place lime wedges, sweetener (if using) and pomegranate juice in a tall glass. Muddle gently until all the juice has been pressed out of the lime.
  2. Clap mint leaves together in your hands to release the scent and add to the glass. Press the mint a couple of times with the muddler.
  3. Add plenty of ice to the glass and top with soda water or ginger ale. Stir well.
  4. Garnish with pomegranate seeds, mint and lime.

Notes

  • If using ginger ale, no additional sweetener is needed. Monk fruit sweetener or Stevia is preferred.
  • This mocktail is lovely with ginger ale, or use half ginger ale, half soda water.
