- 2–3 tbsp heavy cream, evaporated milk, or milk
- Green food coloring (optional)
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp butter or canola oil
- ½ tsp mint extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan.
- Microwave butter, cocoa powder, and sugar in 1-minute intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl, then mix in salt, vanilla, and eggs one at a time.
- Stir in flour until just combined.
- Spread evenly in the pan and bake 30–35 minutes.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, mint extract, and 2 tbsp cream until smooth.
- Add more cream if needed for a thick, spreadable frosting.
- Add food coloring if desired.
- Spread evenly over cooled brownies.
- Melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth.
- Stir in mint extract if using.
- Drizzle over frosting, then spread evenly.
- Let set completely before cutting.
