Description
Pepper jelly is a sweet and spicy spread made from peppers, sugar, and pectin.
Ingredients

- 2 cups chopped bell peppers
- 1 cup chopped jalapeño peppers
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 package pectin
Instructions
- Chop the bell and jalapeño peppers finely.
- Combine peppers, sugar, and vinegar in a pot.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Add pectin and boil for 1 minute.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
- Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
Notes
- Use gloves when handling jalapeños.
- Adjust the heat by changing the amount of jalapeños.
- Best served with cream cheese and crackers.
