Indulge in these rich and fudgy peanut butter chocolate layered brownies! A perfect blend of creamy peanut butter, decadent chocolate, and a chewy brownie base.
Ingredients
For the Brownie Layer:
1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
¾ cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
For the Peanut Butter Layer:
1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
2 cups (240g) powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Topping:
1 ½ cups (270g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp peanut butter
Instructions
Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease lightly. Make the Brownie Batter
In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let cool completely. Prepare the Peanut Butter Layer
In a bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Spread evenly over the cooled brownie layer. Make the Chocolate Topping
Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together (microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring between each).
Pour over the peanut butter layer and smooth out. Chill & Serve
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the layers are set.
