Description

Delicious Paula Deen Sausage Balls perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups baking mix
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the baking mix, ground sausage, shredded cheddar, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands until evenly combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.
  4. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping the balls halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the sausage balls bake, whisk together the mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl.
  6. Serve the sausage balls warm with the mustard dip on the side. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Lightly brush the sausage balls with olive oil before baking for a crispier, browned exterior.
  • If the mixture is hard to shape, add 1–2 tablespoons milk to loosen it slightly.
  • These freeze well—bake, cool, freeze, then reheat when needed.
