Description
Delicious Paula Deen Sausage Balls perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups baking mix
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the baking mix, ground sausage, shredded cheddar, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands until evenly combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping the balls halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the sausage balls bake, whisk together the mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl.
- Serve the sausage balls warm with the mustard dip on the side. Enjoy!
Notes
- Lightly brush the sausage balls with olive oil before baking for a crispier, browned exterior.
- If the mixture is hard to shape, add 1–2 tablespoons milk to loosen it slightly.
- These freeze well—bake, cool, freeze, then reheat when needed.
