One Bowl Brownies are rich, fudgy treats made easily in one bowl.
Ingredients

- 1 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Dutch-processed or unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1¼ cups chopped chocolate, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line with parchment paper, leaving an overhang. Lightly grease again.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined and slightly glossy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Sift in flour and cocoa powder. Add salt and espresso powder if using. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in 1 cup of chopped chocolate. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the center is just set. Avoid overbaking.
- Let cool completely before lifting out and cutting into squares. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
