Nutella Stuffed Cookies: 5 Steps to Cookie Bliss

Description

Deliciously soft cookies filled with Nutella.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups white flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Line another baking sheet with parchment paper and add 1/2 tbsp dollops of Nutella. Freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter with brown and white sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, and beat until creamy again.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet mixture until well combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Using about 2 tbsp of dough, flatten and place a frozen piece of Nutella inside. Wrap dough around Nutella and pinch seams until covered.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a cookie rack.
  9. Flake with sea salt.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
