Description
Delicious no-bake treats made with peanut butter and corn flakes.
Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups corn flakes cereal
Instructions
- Place corn flakes in a large (at least 3-quart) mixing bowl and set aside.
- Measure peanut butter and keep it ready near the stove.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup.
- Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and immediately stir in peanut butter until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the corn flakes and gently stir until evenly coated.
- Drop 2-tablespoon portions onto wax paper using a spoon or cookie scoop.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Work quickly once the syrup boils so the mixture doesn’t stiffen.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
- Do not refrigerate, as it can make the treats hard.
