Description

Delicious no-bake treats made with peanut butter and corn flakes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups corn flakes cereal

Instructions

  1. Place corn flakes in a large (at least 3-quart) mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. Measure peanut butter and keep it ready near the stove.
  3. In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup.
  4. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and immediately stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture over the corn flakes and gently stir until evenly coated.
  7. Drop 2-tablespoon portions onto wax paper using a spoon or cookie scoop.
  8. Let cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Work quickly once the syrup boils so the mixture doesn’t stiffen.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
  • Do not refrigerate, as it can make the treats hard.
