- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup strawberry puree
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk and vanilla extract.
- Divide the batter into three equal parts. To one part, add the strawberry puree, to another, add cocoa powder for chocolate, and leave the third as vanilla.
- Pour each batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once baked, let the cakes cool completely before layering them with whipped cream in between.
- Frost the top and sides with whipped cream and decorate as desired.

- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results.
- Feel free to add fresh fruit on top for decoration.
- This cake can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
