Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons brewed coffee (for frosting)
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and brewed coffee. Stir until combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let brownies cool completely.
- For the frosting, mix powdered sugar, brewed coffee, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting over cooled brownies.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store brownies in an airtight container.
- Use strong coffee for a richer flavor.
- Let brownies cool to avoid melting the frosting.
