Description

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Remove the eggs from the pot and place them in an ice bath to cool.
  3. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  4. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sweet pickle relish, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix until smooth.
  6. Fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture.
  7. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
  • These can be made a day in advance for convenience.
  • Experiment with different garnishes like chives or bacon bits.
