Description
Menchi Katsu is a Japanese breaded and deep-fried ground meat patty. It is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Ingredients

- 500g ground pork
- 200g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Coat each patty in panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tonkatsu sauce.
- Can be served with shredded cabbage.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
