- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- Wooden skewers
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and water.
- Mix until well combined and form into small meatballs.
- Thread meatballs onto skewers.
- Place skewers on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make tzatziki sauce.
- Serve meatball skewers warm with tzatziki on the side.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- These skewers can be grilled instead of baked for added flavor.
