Description

Mastering Garlic Butter Steak With Parmesan Cream Sauce is a delicious and rich dish that combines tender ribeye steaks with a creamy, cheesy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick, ~8 oz / 225 g each)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter. Once melted and bubbling, add the steaks and cook for 4–5 minutes without moving them, until a good crust forms.
  3. Flip the steaks using tongs. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for another 4–5 minutes for medium-rare (adjust time for your preferred doneness).
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes to keep them juicy.
  5. Lower the heat to medium. Add the heavy cream to the same skillet, whisking to loosen the browned bits from the bottom. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook for 3–4 minutes, whisking, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  7. Slice the steaks, plate them, and drizzle generously with the garlic Parmesan cream sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • You can substitute ribeye with sirloin, filet mignon, or strip steak.
  • Adjust the garlic amount to your taste.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or steamed green beans.
  • For extra flavor, spoon the garlic butter over the steaks while cooking.
