- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook chicken in the skillet until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Return sliced chicken to the skillet and combine with the sauce.
- Toss cooked pasta in the skillet until well coated with sauce.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
