Ingredients

For the Pretzel Dough:
1 ½ cups warm water (110°F/45°C) 💧
1 tbsp sugar 🍬

For Boiling:
10 cups water 💦
⅓ cup baking soda 🧂

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. ⏳
Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined and knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. 🤲
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size. 🕐
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 🔥
Shape the Pretzel Bites:
Once the dough has risen, punch it down. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a long rope, about 1 inch thick. Cut the ropes into 1-inch pieces. 🍞
Boil the Bites:
