Description

A mouth-watering close-up of maple balsamic glazed steak bites, beautifully seared and coated in a rich, glossy glaze. Garnished with fresh rosemary and ready to serve as a flavorful appetizer or main course.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or tenderloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh rosemary or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels, then season generously with salt and pepper on all sides.
  • Heat the Pan: In a heavy skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Sear the Steak Bites: Place steak cubes in the skillet in a single layer. Sear for 2 minutes on each side or until they develop a golden crust. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Make the Glaze: Lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the maple syrup and balsamic vinegar, stirring until the mixture begins to thicken.
  • Coat the Steak Bites: Return the steak bites to the pan, tossing to coat them in the glaze. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, letting the glaze caramelize slightly on the steak.
  • Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh rosemary or parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy!
