- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together apple cider, sugar, melted butter, and eggs.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fill a donut pan with batter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then coat with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a stronger apple flavor, use fresh apple cider.
