Description
Magnolia Bakery Blueberry Jamboree is a delicious dessert with a creamy filling and a fruity blueberry topping.

- Blueberry Topping:
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1½ tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1½ tbsp water
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- Crust:
- ¾ cup butter, melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans (toasted or untoasted)
- Filling:
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups + 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Blueberry Topping: Cook 2 cups blueberries, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and water over medium heat, stirring and gently crushing berries. Once boiling, stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until slightly thickened (about 1 minute). Remove from heat and stir in remaining blueberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Refrigerate until fully cooled.
- Crust: Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Mix melted butter, flour, and pecans. Press into a greased 9×13-inch pan. Bake for 15 minutes, then cool completely.
- Filling: Whip cream with vanilla until thick but not fully stiff. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar. Combine both mixtures until smooth.
- Assemble: Spread filling over cooled crust. Spoon cooled blueberry topping evenly over the top. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- The blueberry topping must be completely cool before assembling.
- Toasting pecans adds extra flavor.
- Best served chilled.
