These irresistible salted caramel apple bars are perfect for fall. They combine the sweetness of apples with the richness of caramel.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Press two-thirds of the mixture into a greased baking pan.
- Spread chopped apples evenly over the crust.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.
- Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Best served warm with ice cream.
