Delicious and chewy salted caramel apple bars perfect for fall.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the diced apples evenly over the crust.
  5. Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the apples.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the caramel and apples.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

  • For a richer flavor, use a high-quality salted caramel sauce.
  • These bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
