- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and combine well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Stir in ground cinnamon.
- Drop cookie dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
- Let cookies cool on a wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make frosting and drizzle over cooled cookies.

- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or raisins.
- Adjust the frosting consistency with more milk or sugar as needed.
