Description
Instant Rava Idli is a quick and easy Indian breakfast dish made from semolina. It requires no fermentation, making it ideal for busy mornings.
Ingredients

- 1 cup semolina (rava)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, peas)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix semolina, yogurt, and water. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Add baking soda, salt, and chopped vegetables to the mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter.
- Add turmeric powder to the oil and mix well.
- Combine the oil mixture with the idli batter.
- Grease idli molds and pour the batter into them.
- Steam the idlis for 15 minutes.
- Remove from molds and serve hot with chutney.

- Use any vegetables you prefer.
- Adjust water to get the desired batter consistency.
