Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Dash of salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 4 small Granny Smith apples, chopped into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and butter. Mix until small crumbs form. Refrigerate.
  2. Lightly spray the Instant Pot with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In the pot, stir together melted butter, lemon juice, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add apples and toss to coat. Pour in water.
  4. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apples.
  5. Seal the lid and cook on High Pressure for 1 minute.
  6. When the timer beeps, carefully quick release the pressure.
  7. For a crunchier topping, spoon servings into an oven-safe dish and broil for 1–2 minutes until golden.
