Homemade Tagalong Cookies are a delightful treat made with a crunchy cookie base, creamy peanut butter filling, and a rich chocolate coating.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Form the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes and let cool.
  6. Spread peanut butter on each cookie.
  7. Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave.
  8. Dip each cookie in chocolate and let set on parchment paper.
