Ingredients

  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Roll dough into small balls, about 1 inch in size.
  6. In a pot, boil water and baking soda together.
  7. Drop pretzel bites into the boiling water for 30 seconds.
  8. Remove and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sea salt.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
