Description

A refreshing and delicious homemade mango sorbet that is perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. In a blender, puree the diced mangoes until smooth.
  4. Add the cooled sugar syrup and lime juice to the mango puree and blend until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours.
  6. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes to break up any ice crystals.
  7. Once the sorbet is fully frozen, scoop and serve.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, you can add a splash of coconut milk.
  • Make sure to use ripe mangoes for the best flavor.
  • This sorbet can be stored in the freezer for up to a week.
