			- 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 2 tsp baking powder
 - 1/2 tsp salt
 - 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
 - 1/2 cup milk
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1/4 cup melted butter
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - Oil for frying
 
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
 - In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
 - Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
 - Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.
 - Cut out donuts using a donut cutter or two round cutters.
 - Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
 - Fry the donuts in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
 - Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
 - Let cool slightly before glazing or dusting with powdered sugar.
