Delicious homemade almond joys with coconut and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup whole almonds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
- Form the mixture into small bars and place them on a baking sheet.
- Press one almond into the center of each bar.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool completely.
- Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each bar into the melted chocolate and place on parchment paper.
- Let the chocolate set before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- These can be refrigerated for longer freshness.
- Adjust the sweetness by using unsweetened coconut if preferred.
