Description
This dish features pasta tossed with fresh broccoli in a light garlic sauce.
Ingredients

- 200g whole wheat pasta
- 250g broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.
- Add the broccoli florets to the boiling water for the last 3 minutes of pasta cooking.
- Drain the pasta and broccoli together.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic.
- Sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the pan and toss well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- Use any type of pasta you prefer.
- For a vegan option, skip the Parmesan cheese.
- Add red pepper flakes for heat.
