- 1 pound of carrots, peeled and sliced
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sliced carrots and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Stir in brown sugar, water, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until carrots are tender.
- Remove cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes to thicken the glaze.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
