- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, melt the butter and mix with sugar.
- Add eggs, food coloring, and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and egg until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on top.
- Top with remaining brownie batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.

- Best served at room temperature.
- Can add nuts for extra texture.
